Rahul

I wanted to know teh exact meaning of my name, but wasnt able ...
until i came through the wikipedia.org
thanks wiki!

Rahul, a popular male name in India, has a variety of meanings. The earliest meaning found in the Upanishads is "conqueror of all miseries."
Later use of the word is attributed to the Buddha, who named his son Rahul ("Rahula" means "bond" in Pali and Sanskrit) as he felt that family ties could be an obstacle in the path to renunciation and nirvana.

Bylakuppe !

After getting bored, feeling dull & monotonus for last couple of days, finally i decided, its time to pack bag. Where? Dasahera was appraoching, last year i couldnt make it to Mysore, so thought, wuldnt miss it this time.

After spending a busy saturday in office (yup, after long), left bangalore at sunday morning. route was fine, all green, got some enthu..., became happy.

just after 1 hour of reaching mysore, we (me, Amit, & his friends) decided to leave for Bylakuppe, a destination which i got fascinated for, after reading Anuradha's blog. So picked the bikes, & wrooom...........

Its about 50-60 km from mysore, at coorg road. place is fine, really gives some unique combo of colors, beyond the computer screen of a software engineer ....! A mini tibet, just next to mysore, Amazing !!
Its only after visiting Bylakuppe, i understood the presence of Tibetians in bangalore in large measure. Its not bangalore, its Bylakuppe!
Temple is simply awesome, i felt like being there for more time, but having a tough time constraint, we left & mooved towards coorg.
Snaps would follow ..till then, bye !
